MINI-CLASS: Stretchy Cast-On & Bind-Off

One of the biggest problems new sock knitters face: how do you get a firm, yet elastic edge that’ll stand up to years of being pulled on and off and staying up for daily wear?

In this class, we’ll revisit the long-tail cast-on and learn its sock-friendly variation, the Old Norwegian (aka “German Twisted”) cast-on. For our toe-up sock knitters (but also people who like an attractive edge on sleeves, necks, and hems), we’ll learn the sewn bind-off.
